Bio-Tab® is a proprietary formulation of enzymes and viable microbes in a convenient and easy to use tablet form. The industrial grade product is designed to augment the biological break down and decomposition of the organic waste in home and agricultural waste treatment systems ultimately to carbon dioxide and water. The time release tablets are designed to sink to the bottom of septic tanks, manure pits and other waste containment systems; readily accessing built-up organic solids. In concert with the indigenous microbes and enzymes, Bio-Tab breaks down organic macromolecules to smaller fragments and basic subunits; enhancing their utilization by the microbes as a source of metabolic energy and/or reproductive building blocks.
Bleaches, detergents, disinfectants etc., are designed to minimize or eliminate the presence of naturally occurring microbes and enzymes killing and/or negatively impacts the population and performance of the naturally occurring microbes and their secreted enzymes. Consequently, organic solids are not broken down and decomposed, solids build-up that plug the system, and offensive gases and odors are emitted.
